These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AI Safety Careers at aisafetycareers.com.
By using the website, browsing job listings, saving jobs locally in your browser, creating an employer account, submitting a job listing, purchasing a paid listing, or otherwise using AI Safety Careers, you agree to these Terms. Newsletter subscriptions are also governed by our Privacy Policy and can be cancelled at any time using the unsubscribe link.
1. What AI Safety Careers does
AI Safety Careers is a curated job board and newsletter for roles in AI safety, AI governance, AI policy, AI evaluations, red teaming, responsible AI, AI compliance, AI risk management and frontier AI.
We aggregate, organize, classify and publish job listings from public sources, employer career pages, applicant tracking systems, direct employer submissions and other relevant sources.
2. We are not the employer
AI Safety Careers is not the employer, recruiter, hiring organization or application processor for the roles listed on the website unless explicitly stated.
Applications are handled by the employer or by an external application platform linked from each listing.
We do not guarantee:
- that a job listing is still available;
- that the information is complete, current or error-free;
- that an employer will respond;
- that any applicant will receive an interview or job offer;
- that any application platform or external website will work as expected.
3. External links and application links
Job listings may include links to external websites, including employer websites, applicant tracking systems and third-party application platforms.
We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, security, availability or hiring processes of external websites. You should review the employer's or third-party platform's own terms and privacy policy before applying.
AI Safety Careers does not collect job applications, CVs, resumes or candidate application materials through the website. Applications are submitted through the employer's external application link or third-party application platform.
4. Candidate-facing use
Candidate-facing use of AI Safety Careers does not require an account.
Job seekers can browse listings, save jobs locally in their browser, subscribe to the newsletter and click external application links without creating an account.
AI Safety Careers does not currently provide candidate accounts or candidate profiles.
5. Employer accounts
Employers may create an account to submit, pay for, manage, promote, close or request edits to job listings.
Employer login and account functionality may include email/password login, Google OAuth login, email verification and password reset functionality handled through our authentication provider.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your employer account.
You must provide accurate and current company, contact, billing and job listing information. You must not create an employer account or submit listings on behalf of a company, organization or person unless you are authorized to do so.
6. Job listing sources and automated public listings
Listings may come from:
- publicly available employer career pages;
- public applicant tracking systems;
- public job boards;
- direct employer submissions;
- community submissions;
- other public sources relevant to AI Safety Careers.
AI Safety Careers may automatically collect, classify, categorize and publish job listings from public sources such as employer career pages and applicant tracking systems. We may use automated filters and AI-assisted classification to decide whether a public listing appears relevant to AI Safety Careers.
Because public listings may be processed automatically, we do not guarantee that every listing is complete, current, error-free or manually reviewed before publication.
We may store the original source URL, after removing tracking parameters, to verify where a listing came from and to help keep listings accurate.
7. Submitted listings
If you submit a job listing, you confirm that:
- the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- you have the right and authority to submit the listing;
- the listing does not violate any law or third-party rights;
- the listing is for a real role or opportunity;
- the application link is legitimate and safe;
- the listing is relevant to AI safety, AI governance, AI policy, AI evaluations, red teaming, responsible AI, AI compliance, AI risk management, frontier AI or a closely related area.
You retain any rights you have in the materials you submit, but you grant AI Safety Careers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, reproduce, display, distribute, edit, format and promote the submitted materials for operating, improving and promoting AI Safety Careers.
By submitting a listing, you give AI Safety Careers permission to review, edit, shorten, format, categorize, tag, publish, display, promote and distribute the listing on the website, newsletter, social channels, partner channels and in materials promoting AI Safety Careers.
This permission does not mean that AI Safety Careers guarantees newsletter inclusion, social media promotion, partner distribution or any specific promotional placement.
We may correct formatting, assign categories and tags, adjust summaries, normalize salary/location/remote labels, and make reasonable editorial changes so listings fit the structure and style of the job board. We will not intentionally change the meaning of the role.
We may accept, reject, edit, request changes to, remove or stop promoting any listing at our discretion.
8. Public listing contact details
Public listings may occasionally include recruiter or employer representative contact details if those details were included in the original public job posting.
We do not use such contact details to build a separate contact database or for unrelated marketing.
If you represent an employer, are named in a listing, or believe that a listing contains inaccurate, outdated or unnecessary personal data, you can contact support@aisafetycareers.com or legal@aisafetycareers.com and request correction or removal.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse the website;
- interfere with or disrupt the operation of the service;
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems or data;
- submit malicious code, malware, unsafe links or harmful content;
- scrape, copy, reproduce or redistribute substantial parts of the website in a way that harms the service or violates applicable law;
- use automated systems in a way that overloads, damages or interferes with the service;
- impersonate another person, employer or organization;
- submit false, misleading or fraudulent information.
10. Prohibited listings
You may not submit listings that:
- are fake, misleading or fraudulent;
- require candidates to pay a fee to apply;
- promote scams, pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing schemes;
- contain discriminatory, illegal, unsafe or harmful content;
- impersonate another company, organization or person;
- include malicious links, malware or unsafe application flows;
- violate third-party intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- are unrelated to AI safety, AI governance, responsible AI, frontier AI, AI policy, AI evaluations, red teaming, AI risk, AI compliance or similar areas.
11. Paid employer services
AI Safety Careers offers paid job listing services for employers, companies, organizations, recruiters and users acting in a business or professional capacity.
Paid services are intended only for business or professional use, not consumer use. By purchasing or submitting a paid listing, you confirm that you are not acting as a consumer, but on behalf of a business, organization, employer, recruiting entity, founder-led project or in another professional capacity.
Paid services may include:
- standard job listings;
- longer listing duration;
- higher placement;
- featured promotion;
- other employer visibility or listing management options shown during checkout.
Current prices, listing duration options and promotion options are shown during checkout. Prices and available options may change from time to time.
12. Review before publication
All paid employer-submitted listings remain subject to manual review before publication.
Payment does not guarantee publication.
AI Safety Careers may reject, edit, remove, pause or refuse to promote listings that are inaccurate, misleading, expired, unlawful, unsafe, fraudulent, malicious, rights-infringing, or outside the scope of AI Safety Careers.
If we request changes to a submitted listing, publication may be delayed until the requested information is provided and reviewed.
13. Visibility and no guarantees
Paid listings increase visibility on AI Safety Careers but do not guarantee:
- applications;
- candidates;
- interviews;
- hires;
- clicks;
- traffic levels;
- newsletter inclusion;
- social media promotion;
- partner distribution;
- a fixed position in search results;
- a fixed #1 ranking;
- any specific commercial outcome.
Higher placement may increase the ranking or visibility of a listing within relevant parts of the website, but does not guarantee any specific result.
Featured promotion increases visibility on AI Safety Careers and may make a listing eligible for featured placement. Featured promotion does not guarantee applications, candidates, interviews, hires, clicks, traffic levels, newsletter inclusion, social media promotion, partner distribution or a fixed position in search results.
We may label paid or promoted listings as "Featured", "Promoted" or similar.
14. Refunds, rejection and removal
If a paid listing is rejected because it is outside the scope of AI Safety Careers or cannot be published after review, AI Safety Careers may issue a refund.
If a listing is rejected, removed or stopped because it is false, misleading, fraudulent, unlawful, unsafe, malicious, rights-infringing, expired or violates these Terms, fees may not be refundable.
If an employer closes a listing after it has been published, this does not automatically entitle the employer to a refund.
Refunds, where issued, may be processed through the original payment provider and may take time to appear depending on the payment method and provider.
15. Closing listings
An employer may close a published listing.
Closing a published listing removes it from active public listings, but it does not automatically restore payment or credit because the listing has already been reviewed and published.
AI Safety Careers may also close or deactivate listings that appear expired, inaccurate, unsafe, misleading, out of scope or otherwise unsuitable.
16. Edits to published listings
After a listing has been published, employers may request edits or submit updated information.
AI Safety Careers may review requested changes before applying them to the public listing. We may approve, reject, edit or request clarification for proposed changes.
Employers may not use edits to turn an approved listing into a substantially different, misleading, expired, unsafe, unlawful or out-of-scope listing.
17. Payments, billing and invoice / receipt information
Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider.
AI Safety Careers does not store full payment card details.
Payment provider terms and privacy policies may also apply. Stripe or another payment provider may process payment, billing, checkout, fraud-prevention and security data according to its own terms and privacy policy.
Employers are responsible for providing accurate billing information.
Where available, Stripe or another payment provider may provide invoice or receipt links. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, references to "invoice / receipt" do not guarantee issuance of a formal tax invoice.
18. Newsletter
If you subscribe to the AI Safety Careers newsletter, you agree to receive emails from AI Safety Careers about jobs, hiring trends, AI safety careers and related updates.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in our emails.
Newsletter signup does not require accepting these Terms as a paid customer. Newsletter data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
19. Corrections and removal requests
If you represent an employer and believe a listing is inaccurate, outdated or should be removed, contact support@aisafetycareers.com.
If your request concerns privacy, personal data, deletion or legal rights, contact legal@aisafetycareers.com.
We will review reasonable requests and may update, correct or remove listings.
20. Employer account deletion
Employers may request deletion of their employer account.
If you request deletion of your employer account, we may close active listings and mark the account for deletion review.
After processing, we may anonymize account and company profile data. However, we may retain payment records, invoice or receipt information, review history, audit logs, security records and other information where retention is necessary for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution or business record purposes.
21. No professional advice
Content on AI Safety Careers is provided for general informational purposes only.
Any role summaries, categories, tags, AI classification notes, salary labels, remote labels or other notes are our best-effort interpretation and should not be treated as legal, career, financial, tax, hiring or professional advice.
22. Availability and changes to the service
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the website or service at any time.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure or error-free access.
We may change, add or remove features, listing categories, pricing options, promotion options, review processes or publication rules from time to time.
23. Intellectual property
The AI Safety Careers website, branding, design, original content, categories, summaries, classification structure and other materials are owned by us or our licensors.
Job descriptions, employer names, company materials, logos and source materials may belong to their respective employers, sources or rights holders.
You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit substantial parts of the website in a way that harms the service, violates applicable law or infringes our rights, except where allowed by law.
24. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Safety Careers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from your use of the website, job listings, external links, employer services, paid listings, newsletter or third-party services.
AI Safety Careers is not responsible for employer hiring decisions, candidate outcomes, application platform issues, external website content, payment provider outages, or actions of third-party service providers outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law.
25. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, unless mandatory laws in your country require otherwise.
Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts under applicable law.
26. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
