Contact and support messages
If you contact us, we collect the information you include in your message, such as your name, email address, company, message content and any related support context.
Candidate data
AI Safety Careers does not currently provide candidate accounts.
Job seekers can browse listings, save jobs locally in their browser, subscribe to the newsletter and click external application links without creating an account.
We do not intentionally collect CVs, resumes or candidate application materials through AI Safety Careers. If you apply for a job, you will usually be redirected to the employer's website or another external application platform. Their own terms and privacy policy will apply.
Saved jobs
Saved jobs are stored locally in your browser. AI Safety Careers does not currently sync saved jobs to an account or store a user-specific saved jobs list on its servers. If you clear your browser storage, your saved jobs may be removed.
Public job listings collected from public sources
Some job listings are collected from public employer career pages, public applicant tracking systems or other public sources.
These listings may occasionally include contact details of recruiters or other employer representatives if those details were included in the original public job posting. We do not use such contact details to build a separate contact database or for unrelated marketing. We process and display them only as part of the relevant job listing.
We may store the original source URL, after removing tracking parameters, to verify where the listing came from and to help keep listings accurate.
If you believe a listing includes personal data that should be corrected or removed, contact us at legal@aisafetycareers.com.
AI-assisted public listing classification
For public job listings collected from public sources, we may use OpenAI API or similar AI service providers to classify and categorize publicly available job posting content.
This is used only for automated job discovery and categorization. It is not used for employer account data, payments, newsletter subscriber data or candidate applications.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and performance. Vercel Analytics is used for aggregate traffic and performance insights and does not use cookies.
We collect limited first-party product analytics, such as newsletter signups, apply button clicks, job views, searches, filter usage, saved jobs interactions and employer funnel events. We use this data to understand which features are useful, improve job discovery and improve AI Safety Careers.
Product analytics events are used in aggregate and are not used for cross-site tracking.
We do not store IP addresses, user agents, full email addresses or full external application URLs in analytics events.
For apply clicks, we may store limited metadata such as job ID, category, company or application domain, page/source and timestamp. We do not store full external application URLs in product analytics events.
For internal website usage, we may store relative page paths and limited query/filter parameters, such as search or category filters, to understand how people discover jobs. We do not use this for cross-site tracking.
Local storage and session storage
We may use local storage for user-facing preferences, such as saved jobs, theme settings or interface preferences.
We may use session storage for limited attribution and product analytics support, such as initial referrer, landing page, UTM parameters and avoiding repeated counting of the same product event in one browser session.
These storage mechanisms are not used for cross-site advertising.
You can clear local storage and session storage through your browser settings.
