- In this role, you'll lead frontier AI risk research and inform Microsoft's safety and alignment strategy.
- Identify critical research questions and conduct world-class frontier risk research with industry relevance.
- Produce papers, whitepapers, briefings, and blog posts on frontier safety, alignment, and model behaviour.
- Inform applied safety and governance, including technical evaluation, mitigation, and model release readiness.
- Collaborate across Microsoft and develop external research partner networks at frontier risk forums.
