In this role, you'll contribute to AI safety research on security, ethics, alignment, and benchmarking AI risks.
Plan and run machine learning experiments at scale leveraging our internal compute cluster.
Conduct code reviews and collaborate with a small team to develop impactful research publications.
Debate and defend your own experimental approaches and contribute to project direction.
Take ownership of your contributions and work as a colleague within the research team.
The Center for AI Safety is a nonprofit conducting technical research and field building for high-consequence risks from AI. This includes providing compute for machine learning safety researchers, and running fellowships and courses.
