- In this role, you'll contribute to AI safety research on security, ethics, alignment, and benchmarking AI risks.
- Plan and run machine learning experiments at scale leveraging our internal compute cluster.
- Conduct code reviews and collaborate with a small team to develop impactful research publications.
- Debate and defend your own experimental approaches and contribute to project direction.
- Take ownership of your contributions and work as a colleague within the research team.
The Center for AI Safety is a nonprofit conducting technical research and field building for high-consequence risks from AI. This includes providing compute for machine learning safety researchers, and running fellowships and courses.
