In this role, you'll serve as California's senior technical advisor on state-level AI policy, safety, governance, and adoption.
Take the lead in setting up a reporting system for security and misalignment risks pursuant to California's frontier AI legislation, SB 53. Analyze incident reports and reports of risks from internal deployment of frontier AI models.
Advise on frontier AI critical safety incident reporting, risk assessment, and policy development.
Coordinate with AI governance experts across state agencies, academia, industry, and community partners.
