In this role, you'll lead high-impact research on AI safety, owning end-to-end experiments from conception to publication.

Design and run experiments on large language models addressing AI honesty, robustness, and transparency.

Train and fine-tune large transformer models at scale using distributed training systems.

Build and maintain datasets, benchmarks, and evaluation tooling for frontier AI systems.

Lead publication of research papers and drive submissions to top-tier conferences while collaborating with internal and external partners.
The Center for AI Safety is a nonprofit conducting technical research and field building for high-consequence risks from AI. This includes providing compute for machine learning safety researchers, and running fellowships and courses.
